🧪 Antibiotics
Antibiotics are essential in veterinary medicine for treating bacterial infections in livestock and companion animals.
Oxytetracycline
Oxytetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic widely used against respiratory infections, pink eye, pneumonia, and wound-related bacterial diseases. It can be administered orally, intramuscularly, or intravenously, and is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, though resistance may occur with misuse.

Tylosin
Tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic, is particularly effective against Mycoplasma and is commonly used to treat gastrointestinal, respiratory, and skin infections in livestock. It is usually given orally, often mixed with feed or water.

Pen-Strep
Pen-Strep, a combination of penicillin and streptomycin, provides a powerful dual action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is widely used for mastitis, septicemia, metritis, and respiratory infections, typically administered via deep intramuscular injection. These antibiotics are highly effective when used correctly, but adherence to withdrawal periods is critical to ensure food safety.
