🪱 Antiparasitics
Antiparasitic drugs play a vital role in controlling internal and external parasites that affect animal health and productivity.
Albendazole
Albendazole is a broad-spectrum dewormer effective against roundworms, tapeworms, and liver flukes. It is usually given orally as a drench or bolus and is safe for use after the first month of pregnancy.

Ivermectin
Ivermectin is one of the most versatile antiparasitic agents, controlling internal nematodes as well as external parasites such as lice, mites, and ticks. It is available in injectable, oral, and pour-on formulations, though it does not target flukes or tapeworms.

Levamisole
Levamisole is another effective nematocide used in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and poultry. It can be administered orally or via injection and also acts as an immune stimulant, enhancing disease resistance. These drugs are highly effective when used strategically, often as part of rotational deworming programs to prevent resistance.
